We found this place through Tripadvisor and it was a success. Restaurant with a large terrace, very delicious and original food. The attention of the waiters...incredible. We went for lunch one day and dinner another... And everything was very, very good. They also have food prepared for celiacs. 100% recommended

This summer we went to eat for 3 days, during July 2024, to try the rice dishes, which had very good opinions from other customers. We had already tried one of the rice dishes the previous year and we liked the experience. We are four people, a couple and two children, ages 21 and 17, who eat gluten-free due to intolerances. For the first day we had booked on the website, and they called us several times until they contacted us to choose the type of rice, since they start preparing it the day before It was a success, we tried Arroz a Banda on different days; Alicantina Paella and Baked Rice and we liked them all very much; I was especially surprised by the baked rice, since the blood sausage put me off, but no, it was not greasy at all and the chickpeas were spectacular. Very large portions, rice, we had leftovers every day that they put in a taper to take away. We also tried several starter dishes, which we loved: Torreznos (we repeated on the 2nd day), my advice is to try them, they are worth it, the best and softest I have ever tried in my life, by far; Goat salad, hearty and tasty, good salad; Homemade Ali Oli very, very good; Gamba al ajillo, it was good, but you should note that it was shrimp, not shrimp, we didn't care; The last day that they had fresh dishes of the day, they offered us grilled squid, exquisite, and some tellinas, which my wife and daughter ate, excellent, and a huge plate. My son ordered a chicken steak, which was very, very good, with a lot of crispy fries, I recommend it for when you go with children who don't eat everything. They also offered us freshly brought fish but since we had the rice reserved we could not take them, it is pending for next year. For dessert we had cheesecake and chocolate whims the first two days, which we really liked, although I would have liked a little more variety of gluten-free desserts, such as homemade flan or custard. We went out for €35 per head, drinking water and soft drinks, we did not drink wine, very good quality/price ratio. The waiters are very professional, attentive and pleasant, with fast service and detailed explanations about possible intolerances.

My favorite restaurant in Calpe for many years, every time I come it is a mandatory stop with my family. Exceptional food, including more and more specific gluten-free dishes on the menu: The best rice dishes I have ever tried, the wonderful gluten-free fried foods available and of course the homemade gluten-free cokes, which they also usually have, a delight. Thank you very much Encarni for always taking care of me since I was little!!
