I Heart Mac & Cheese - Hixson

Good selection of items, I went with the build your own bowl. And got gluten free so that's great they are catering to my demographic as well. Manager was very attentive to each guest. Was totally stuffed afterwards. It is expensive so don't be surprised to see $10+ more than you might expect from a place with a name that doesn't sound pricey. Would definitely go again!

I am very disappointed. My family and I have been waiting to come here ever since we found out they had gluten-free pasta, but it was not worth the hype The food was mediocre at best. I ordered pasta, pesto (which they did not put on...), bacon, and scallions, while the other members of my party ordered similar toppings. The pasta was rather... crunchy, almost like it was undercooked, and the cheese tasted kind of fake. The bacon was very unflavorful, while the scallions were basically non-existent. The workers also decided to put breadcrumbs on top of all of our orders, which we did not order, which is a problem, since two of the members of my party are gluten intolerant, and they had ordered gluten free pasta and toppings. The service was very bad, and left us all disappointed. The people who made our meals did not ask us if we wanted cheese or what our choice of sauce would be. One of the servers was especially rude, who nearly snapped at someone because they couldn't hear them and had a snarl on his face. They used the same tongs for everything, so anyone who orders vegan or gluten-free alternatives would have cross-contamination. This is especially problematic for people with allergies. The price was way too high; it cost around 70 dollars for four meals with drinks and a side of tots (which they forgot). The line was about an hour wait due to it being the weekend after opening and their computers going down. The best part of the experience was that the owners were customer service oriented even though their employees were not. In short, the experience was bad, but the place could very well be redeemed. I believe that the employees could be more kind and perhaps a bit faster. I believe if the lines cool down, this place is worth a shot... if you really want to visit. Possibly in the future, I may revisit this place in hopes of leaving a better review, but not anytime soon.
