We visited the restaurant on Friday evening "in full". Fortunately, we had a reservation, even if we did not manage to call and specify the number - we solved it without any problems on the spot with helpful staff.
The restaurant is modernly furnished, it also has a modern simple menu, and the food is also modern. Despite the excellent recommendations for sushi, we chose everything possible from the menu, but not sushi - but it didn't spoil the impression. :-)) The waiter, apparently very experienced, willingly advised and explained, as we needed to find lactose-free and gluten-free alternatives on the menu.
The wine list consisting of about 10-12 wines offers different wines, each from a different part of the world, we chose Sauvignon Blanc (NZ), and as expected it was excellent.
For local patriots, I would perhaps recommend the owner to include 2-3 domestic wines instead of one, Slovaks will still appreciate it, at least from our gastronomic experience they like to prefer them.
Appetizers - the fish was perfectly fine-tuned, the kumquat sauce top, the rice chips perfectly crispy, the tartar senza.
The main dishes arrived relatively quickly, we tried the fish - toothfish in curry - the sauce was top, the fish was juicy, adequately seasoned.
We also tried Korean-style beef, excellently prepared meat and well seasoned. The last dish was pork ribs with salad and Asian naan bread, we had to complain about them, but the service solved it gallantly, we waited a while and new ribs arrived, with an excellent BBQ sauce. The salad was "sharply seasoned" for our taste, but it did not spoil the overall impression, the pomelo segments refreshed it beautifully.
We finished off our full bellies with an excellent coconut-chestnut dessert - parfait + ice cream, it was perfect as usual.
I believe that whatever customers choose, they will not regret it. The service for me personally belongs to my TOP 3 in Bratislava, they were great professionals, and they clearly contribute to the perfect atmosphere.
All the dishes are beautifully served - it's a pity that I can't prove it with a photo, my eyes ate too quickly and the photos were somehow forgotten.
Readers of Google reviews are often interested in the prices - they are appropriate for the quality of the food, service and, of course, the location in the middle of Hviezdoslav Square. For everything I listed (there were more bottles of wine), the 3 of us paid less than €50/person.
It was worth it, it's worth traveling for such high-quality gastronomy, it's worth paying extra.
Thank you for a great experience and a nice evening spent at your place. Even 5.5 out of 5. :-)))
