I had a superb server who was not overly attentive but who was there when I needed him. He also brought me an extra, no charge cup of tea after I had finished my meal--scrambled eggs and a gigantic waffle. Of course, many of the foods are high in sugar, such as pancakes, French toast, and waffles. However, IHOP offers healthy options, such as gluten-free waffles, low cholesterol "fake" eggs, omelets made of egg whites and vegetables, regular omelets with vegetables. I usually go to IHop when I'm having a carbohydrate craving, but I do select a good source of protein as well.
