Almost a year ago we had a terrible experience there (see below). When we went today, 12sep2020, our experience was wonderful. We were seated in 10 minutes. iHop was as full as it could be with social distancing. Our server, Kaley was with us almost immediately. Her attitude was great and the entire time she was attentive to our needs. The food was cooked perfectly, even the gluten free waffles, the taste was great, and Kaley got it out to us while it was still hot. This place has turned around completely. We thanked the Manager, Jennifer, for all the hard work she and the other managers had done to turn it around. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!
We had a terrible experience the first time we came to the iHop store at 6475 Glenway store in Cincinnati. Our server waited 45 minutes to bring the food from the kitchen to our table. Needless to say it was cold. What was he doing for 45 minutes? He was standing around talking with other servers.
Because the manager comped our meal we gave this iHop store a second chance today (28sep19- 4:00pm).
Only one booth was occupied. Yet when we stood at the "Wait to be Seated" sign no one came to seat us. Five servers were standing in back enjoying each other's conversation. We waited three minutes and when none of the servers even looked at us we left and went to Chipotle's two doors down. In a couple of months we will try again because every other iHop has been great in service and food and we want this one to succeed. Maybe by then these servers will have been replaced.
