My husband brought me here yesterday for Valentine’s Day. As a true lover of good pancakes and a simple dinner to share together, I was not at all satisfied and honestly, disappointed. I have gluten allergies and so finding good food is difficult, when I knew that iHop has a gluten friendly option for pancakes, I was so excited to try them out! It’s been years since I’ve been able to go to an ihop, so I’m thinking the GF version will be top notch like the normal, original fluffy pancakes. How disappointing when a tiny flat stack of sad looking pancakes comes to table. They were tasteless, dry, and crumbled under the weight of the fork. I was NOT happy and did not enjoy my dinner and left hungry. I don’t think a restaurant that is known for pancakes does the GF community justice with this sad excuse for a gluten friendly option. Maybe it was just the Kenvil location, but I’m never coming back to iHop, they need to revisit their recipe of GF pancakes cause when you advertise Gf pancakes, they should be nearly identical to the original you offer to all your other guests. I wasn’t happy about paying the full price of a stack of GF pancakes that tasted like napkins!
