IZAKAYA | High Japanese Cuisine

I went into this restaurant to book a table with great enthusiasm, but when I asked if they adapted the dishes for coeliacs, they asked me a question that confirmed my suspicions: What level of intolerance do you have? They made it clear to me that they do not control the issue since coeliac disease affects everyone equally even if you do not have strong symptoms. Coeliacs cannot eat absolutely anything that contains gluten. Their response was that their kitchen is not prepared for it. I was disappointed that a restaurant that has been recognized and with such prestige sent me away without further ado and I got the feeling that they did not want to complicate their lives. So coeliacs are not welcome here.

An impressive Japanese restaurant in Palma. The staff is top-notch. Each and every member of the team is dedicated to making the experience unique—because dinner is a true experience. In our case, they had to adapt the dishes for one of two gluten-free diners. They reviewed the situation in the kitchen and made several suggestions (each one better than the last!) to make the experience as incredible even without gluten, so we wouldn't miss out. They adapted the dish for celiacs and offered gluten-free dishes to those without restrictions, so they could enjoy the dish as it was originally intended. They went out of their way to make the dinner incredible, always with kind, friendly, and approachable words. The produce is unbeatable, the cuts are haute cuisine, and the flavors are indescribable. 100% recommended! P.S.: The experience menus can't be adapted for gluten-free dining, but let them advise you; not a single dish fails!

Great Japanese experience in Mallorca! The food was good (definitely recommending the special sushi & tempura + desserts!) And it was amazing that there was a gluten-free sushi option! The interior is more dark high end, and the staff is very attentive and friendly!
