Had a great experience here today. The restaurant (new location) is gorgeous - modern and clean and not overcrowded inside. Beautiful. The food was delicious too. I had a gf Caesar salad that was incredible and a risotto special with lobster that was excellent. Nearly every pasta dish could be made with gf pasta and the chicken parm could be made with grilled chicken and gf pasta, which also sounded good (and healthier than traditional breaded and fried chicken anyway). The only negative was the way we were greeted at the reception. The ladies seemed stressed out and had intense discussions with each other about my reservation and the fact that one person ended up not being able to make it. It was very off putting and we did not feel welcomed at all. I considered walking out…but I didn’t want to be charged! After we were seated everything was lovely.

I wish I could give this place 6 or 7, maybe more stars. Seriously everything about this place was amazing. Don’t let the location fool you. This is a top quality Italian restaurant. We really enjoy our dinner from start to finish. The starter house salad was huge, definitely enough for 2 to split. My wife and I both had the gluten free option. The staff was very knowledgeable about my celiac/gluten needs. I had one of the specials, which was a spicy seafood pasta dish. It had clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari. Our server, Mariam, was stupendous. She was perfect on timing and was even able to rattle off the gluten free dessert options. The atmosphere was great too. A smaller place but we didn’t feel on top of any one. The place was also super clean. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re celiac and miss a good pasta dish.

I really wanted to enjoy this place. The location is great, and the menu had a ton of options (especially those who are gluten free!) it took us about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were standing and waiting to give our name for our reservations. Didn’t think too much of it, since it’s summer and they were busy. I got the Cacio e Pepe with a side of a meatball. Before the guy put my plate all the way down, I saw a huge hair in the food. And the meatball (which I had to laugh) was just a meatball - plain not in sauce. I told them about the hair and they apologized and asked if I wanted them to make another dish, I said yes. They also took away the lone meatball too. They did apologize and about 7 minutes later, brought out a “new” dish and sauced meatball. I hope this was truly a different dish and they just didn’t remove the hair and gave me the same dish. I rarely ever send things back or complain at all, because of this reason. I am giving 3 stars because even though things happen, and there was an apology, usually when things are wrong with your food, the restaurant either comps the dish or gives something like a free dessert. That did not happen here; I don’t even think it crossed the waiters mind.
