A Great Experience for Celiacs, Even if Truffle Isn’t My Thing
I dined at Ich & Dich in Sittard and tried the mushroom truffle risotto. The dish was packed with a strong truffle flavor and an abundance of mushrooms, including some varieties I’d never encountered before—definitely interesting!
Eating out with celiac disease can be challenging, especially when you don’t speak the language fluently. Fortunately, I had a translation card from the Netherlands Celiac Society, which the waiter reviewed carefully to ensure my dish was safe. Their attention to detail gave me peace of mind, and I truly appreciated the effort.
While it was a great experience overall, I’ve come to realize I’m just not a huge fan of truffle. That said, if truffle is your thing, this might be the perfect dish for you!
