I always hunt for gluten-free/vegan bakeries when I travel, and Ida’s Cupcake Café in Redmond did not disappoint. Everything I ordered was gluten-free and vegan, and it was all delicious. The lemon cupcake with vanilla frosting was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—bright lemon flavor and a generous, not-too-sweet frosting. I meant to share it but ended up eating the whole thing! I also got a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and a peanut butter cupcake with chocolate frosting. Both had chocolate chips in the cake (which I didn’t think were necessary), but they were still tasty. The cupcakes were even frosted to order—such a nice touch!
