I went here for dinner the other day because I'm celiac, and I saw that their entire menu was gluten-free, and it was a great choice. One of my favorite places in Kyoto. I sat at the bar and watched the food being prepared live; everything was delicious, too. A highly recommended place to try authentic Japanese food, whether you have celiac disease or not.

Look for the unicorn! If you come to this place it will be essential to find it, because the place is in the basement and has an entrance that from the street is really small, but very obvious thanks to a large illuminated unicorn. Let's start by saying that they have everything gluten-free, which for those like us who have the need is an exceptional rarity and much appreciated then trying their specialties eating directly on the griddle and seeing what they cook for you is truly fabulous. The service was a bit slow, but we had a great time and will almost certainly return to try other delicacies.
