Il Carrettino 100% senza glutine

We (family of 4 with 9yr old Coeliac daughter) had a great meal here. A good menu of traditional Italian food but they were also very willing to accommodate our daughters request for a more simple pasta dish. Would def recommend visiting here and their bakery, Il Carrettino - a great selection of delicious freshly made 100% GF bread, pastries and lunch snacks.

Just left: as for dinner, as a celiac with a vegan diet, everything was delicious. From the cheeses, to the pizza to the almond paste. For me, finding the combination of the two and being able to eat without deprivation is almost utopia. The restaurant is welcoming and characteristic, it has all the lost flavor of the past. The boy who served us was extraordinary, whose name I unfortunately didn't ask, polite and kind, a rarity nowadays. Last but not least, Andrea, the owner, who with palpable passion pampered us with respect and kindness. Thank you and congratulations for creating such an inclusive place.

We had a wonderful experience at this stylish Sicilian restaurant in Italy. From the moment we arrived, the staff's kindness and attentiveness stood out and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. What truly surprised us was discovering afterwards that the restaurant is gluten-free. We've tried gluten-free food before and it usually doesn’t compare — but here, everything tasted so good we genuinely wouldn’t have known. A real hidden gem for both gluten-free diners and anyone who just loves great food. Highly recommended!
