Manager’s reply confirms attitude I mentioned, very different tone from email exchange. Omg worst experience for a celiac! I know there is a risk when trying somewhere new but we. Saw positive stuff on forums and emailed the manager who gave us confidence. When we got there we watched the gluten free pizza get prepped cooked and finished in the same work areas and with the same utensils. Only partial changes used a pizza tray and fresh cutter. But they used the same prep area and same pizza peel to get the pizza off the plate into the box. When we questioned just to confirm the staff we dismissive blunt and outright rude with a “what do you expect” attitude. Do not eat here if you have a food allergy you will get sick. Anyone want an otherwise perfectly fine pizza? Now we’re sad, humiliated and hungry on a Friday night.

Mamma mia!!! Excellent pizzas! We had burrata and Quattro formaggi take away and were both super tasty! Even the gluten free base was delicious. Il locale is definitely our local pizzeria and we can’t wait to taste the others! Bravi ragazzi! 😉
