Il Ritrovo

The crust was partially burnt. I had a special pizza made for me due to it being gluten free. The price was more than I should have paid for it. I've never paid $28 for a gluten free pizza. Ive been to other Italian restaurants and I never paid that price. They charged extra $5 for the gluten free crust which I was not aware of. They never mentioned it to me either when I asked them about it. I didn't see it on the menu either because I looked. The waiter could have been better. I told the young kid about my gluten free allergy and he told me he would go ask and come back. He never came back and I had to go find him and talk to him. When the cooks in the back heard about my gluten free pizza, they weren't happy about it. I seen their reaction and heard their comments because I was sitting 2 tables away from them. My son had his own pizza. I asked the waiter for napkins when I got my pizza and he said ok. I never received them. My son wanted napkins to and didn't get any but the table next to us asked for napkins and got it. Since this place doesn't like helping people out with food allergies, I'm done.

Excellent service all around! I had a caprese salad and a gluten free pizza. My drink was a blood orange margarita. The salad was so good! The pizza was ok and I'm sure if I was not limited to gluten free it would be so much better. It was just mainly crust with scarce toppings. I had to refuse the bread/oil but that looked incredible.

We had Stefano’s Restaurant Group cater our rehearsal dinner back in August 2024. While our wedding was in the Sheboygan area, we aren’t from that part of the state, so we went to “taste test” Il Ritrovo for the first time in the months prior to our wedding. It didn’t take long to realize that the food would be a big hit with our guests! All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and high quality. We went with a variety of pizzas for the rehearsal (Margarita, Salsiccia e Funghi, Calabrese con Miele, Bufalina Bianca), along with some salads and pastas from Trattoria Stefano. Vicki was great throughout the planning process and helped put together a menu with options from their different restaurants. She also helped advise on how we could keep the food hot and fresh, considering we were having our rehearsal dinner offsite. All that, and they were even able to accommodate a gluten allergy :) My wife and I are grateful for how everything turned out, and hope to get back to Sheboygan to dine in at one of the restaurants!
