In House Kitchen

This USED to be the place our entire family looked forward to visiting.. Now: extremely overpriced, bland tasting meals. We had a veggie eggs benny and the pea fritters. Fritter plate looked pretty but tasted of nothing but oil and a hint of onion, the mint and zucchini 'salad' was raw zucchini ribbons with extra peas and watercress with dressing, also tasteless. Poached eggs were ok, runny, but also with glibbery white. Hollandaise on the benny was the saving grace. $27 each for something uninspired. On the upside: The waitperson was absolutely lovely and quick and helpful. And the coffees were perfect. When we said how disappointed we were at the till, especially being charged extra $2 for gluten free cardboard, got told we should have said something when the meals came out and that there have been no other complaints. In other words: 0 interest, let alone apology. I don't send meals back as I know it means they get binned, but I do expect my feedback to be acknowledged. Generally also only post praise, but this was so underwhelming.
