I’ve been multiple times, the service is always impeccable and the food is scrumptious. Highly recommend for a special night out. Gluten free haven 🤩

Quite a disappointing experience. The staff were friendly and accommodated us without a booking (the restaurant was fairly empty at 5.30 on a Saturday). We were initially seated on the mezzanine which had the feeling of a noisy shopping centre. There was a loud bass from the bar/cafe below but no other music was discernible, and there was just loud noise of coffee machines etc. We moved back around to the first bit of the restaurant which was much more pleasant but silent. After about 20 minutes some music came on which made a big different. We ordered drinks and my partner had nearly finished his by the time my cocktail arrived. It was quite nice when it did. My partner had a terrine starter and sea bream main which he really enjoyed. I skipped starter and went for fish and chips which were delicious. The real disappointment were the deserts. I had strawberry set cream which was one of the blandest and least pleasant deserts I’ve ever had. It was a really jelly based cream with no discernible flavour, with effectively some red croutons which was advertised as sponge, and then some chopped up strawberries with the stalks stuck on scattered round. It had a tiny scoop of sorbet on it which was the only nice aspect. My partner had the Karolyn’a brûlée which was better but still very underwhelming and plain. Never had a meal that felt was more overpriced that this one. As a coeliac I’d been wanting to give it a try for ages and it was a real shame. I did try to let one of the waiting staff know about the desert and she just smiled at me.
