I ordered these pizzas to try the gluten-free and to try infinity. I’ve never personally been here, I’ve had friends that have gone here and has suggested it. I didn’t get a chance to go inside, I had it delivered this time.
First off, I’ll touch on the gluten-free aspect . They give two options, cauliflower, or a regular gluten-free crust. I opted for the regular one because most places do cauliflower now. It is a crispy crust and thin, but it is tasty. It doesn’t taste like cardboard or anything like that, obviously it doesn’t taste like the real deal. I have to say I miss a good pizza crust. But this is all right.
As for the pizzas itself, the flavor is pretty good. The Moon Knight I would definitely do again. That one’s delicious!
The kingpin, not as great. Not a lot of flavor. The tomatoes are just regular tomatoes, so they tend to suck up any flavor and there wasn’t near enough balsamic vinegar. There were two lines of balsamic vinegar across the crust at the end so holding the pizza to eat it difficult because it was sticky. I would definitely more balsamic vinegar and to keep it away from the crust next time if I got it again.
Edit to add:
I did finally go in this place with my family. It’s not bad, definitely for older kids. Now something that is peculiar to Safety Harbor, the place smelled like bad plumbing. This is not the first business and Safety Harbor. I’ve had this experience. I don’t know what happens but The smell permeates the area.
Otherwise, the staff were great. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun.
