Initiative Brewing the Fortress

Beautiful space and excellent service. Good beer. Food was greasy, only complaint. Good variety of options for food but everything we got was too greasy for our taste (tacos, steak bowl, kids meals). I appreciate the menu labels as gluten free or dairy free, thank you!

I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and have really struggled finding a place to eat in Madras, a lot of what I eat is mexican food which is by no means a bad thing but variety can be nice. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked the waitress about designated fryers that all of their fryers are gluten free. The food was absolutely delicious. I havent been able to eat a burger at a restaurant in months. It was definitely an emotional moment for me. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much initiative brewing for giving me some where safe to eat. ❤️
