Insomnia Cookies

We were on holiday and visited downtown Orlando for 2 consecutive nights to watch soccer and basketball. This place was a great find as they do a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie's which are served warm and very reasonably priced. They were delicious and the service was very efficient.

I’m so sad, because the gluten free cookies are some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, last week I ordered through DoorDash 8 gluten free cookies (not a lifestyle choice but indeed an allergy) and when they got here I noticed there was one single what looked like white chocolate macadamia cookie in the mix. I called to clarify and indeed a NON GLUTEN FREE cookie had been added to my box because they were out and wanted me to have all 8 cookies. While I understand it was nice to include all eight, I’m upset that it was done without heed to my allergy. If I hadn’t called to clarify and just left my trust in “well it says gluten free so I assume they will put all gluten free in here”, I could have ended up in the hospital, as my throat does close on ingestion of gluten.
