Iron Roost

My visit to Iron Roost was outstanding! The staff was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. It was very clean inside and the atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming and happy. They have a separate menu for gluten free with many vegan options as well. Both types of waffles - regular and gluten free were fabulous. Crispy outside and fluffy inside- very flavorful and satisfying. I had the Toasted Berry, which is a gluten free / vegan waffle topped with a delightful mix of berries, chocolate mousse and coconut whipped cream. The hours are limited but absolutely worth making an effort to visit during their week day hours. Highly recommended this restaurant

Iron Roost is an incredible little culinary oasis in Ballston Spa, NY! The absolutely most amazing and delicious gluten free options that my sweetheart and I have ever enjoyed, from the bread and waffles to the frozen chicken pot pie and brownie that we took home for dinner. The coffee and the hot chai latte were also fabulous! On top of all that, the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient and the space is cozy and welcoming.
