It’s important to read reviews! Yes, this place in May 2026is very expensive. My 16oz latte w/oat milk was $8 & I’m sure the milk was bad. It wasn’t hot, which made it worse. My husband’s iced mocha had cinnamon in it, which he omits if he knows it’s in there. So $18 total w/ 3 taxes & tip. I’m a sensitive Celiac so there $8 thin slice of cheesecake and 1 brownie wasn’t appealing to me. Decor is fabulous, but quality of goods and service don’t match it! Not recommended.

Not much gf and very, very expensive!

I’ve been here 3x now and each time the service was super friendly, coffee and food (cheesecake and croissants!!!) were delicious, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Lynchburg needed another coffee shop in the area and I’m super happy to have Ironclad. Also, the cheesecakes and brownies on offer were gluten free so that’s a huge win for the GF community. And I would just like to say that my iced latte cost $5.50. I see that there are many people complaining about the prices which makes me laugh because Starbucks cost just as must if not more. It’s honestly embarrassing for Lynchburg to be so unwelcoming of a new great coffee shop. Thankfully each time I’ve been there, they were full of customers so I wish them the best and will continue to give them my business.
