From the moment we arrived, the live music and inviting beachy atmosphere really set the tone. It looked great from a distance, and once we got closer, it didn’t disappoint—my eyes and ears did not deceive me!
One of the hostesses, who seemed to be the manager on duty, was very helpful when I asked about gluten-free options. She let us know there were plenty available, which was great to hear. As we were being seated, I noticed a cozy seating area with beach-style bungalow tables that looked super inviting—but they were all taken. Hopefully next time we’ll snag one! Our regular table was still comfortable.
Our server, who mentioned she was new, was very nice and attentive. She took our orders quickly, and the food came out fast as well. I had the Vero Beach burger without the bun. It looked fresh and like it was made in-house, but it could’ve used a bit more seasoning. The mashed potatoes were flavorful but a little over-seasoned. When I mentioned it to the server, she kindly explained that they’re typically seasoned with just a dash of salt and pepper, and that we could request additional seasoning if needed—something that would’ve been helpful to know beforehand.
All in all, the atmosphere, live music, and friendly service made for a good experience. I’d definitely consider going back—hopefully for one of those bungalow tables next time!
