Istanbul checks both the food and hospitality experience and leaves you with a feeling of being looked after and wanting more despite there being absolutely no room whatsoever! Defintely tuck into their lovely fluffy falafels for appetizers. The Patlican is so well made, but can be a little concentrated for some taste buds, so definitely to share and can be a tad bit salty so you can enjoy it with the complimentary warm pita they serve. You must try a grilled skewer (mixed grill for those who want to try little bit of everything!) But on days I feel like I want a gluten treat, the Iskender is a pretty good try! Don't forget to finish off the meal with a Turkish coffee and bakhlava. I'm glad they don't have chocolate flavour else I'd be camping outside!
