Cool shop, delicious shashuka, also gluten-free options. The price is a bit higher, but that's partly due to the location. Great service and fast.

Local cafe option, along the canals — we were looking for a place open early in the morning and as we walked along, we found this eatery. The woman helping tables was super friendly and attentive. They did have gluten-free bread and she seemed to ensure that the food was safe. The coffee was great and the toasts (one chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and one with egg and ham) were a great size and delicious. Would definitely recommend as a breakfast stop in Amsterdam.

Stopped in for some brunch, menu was very basic/limited but food was tasty enough. Gluten free bread was available and decent and there were vegan options. Good portion sizes and very friendly service. Only complaint would be the mark up on GF items, however I have since become aware this is still standard practice in Amsterdam whilst relatively unusual in Scotland these days.
