I've never been a fan of Mexican comfort food as it's usually greasy. I was pleasantly surprised to learn JD's Veg Mex is whole foods plant based, which means it doesn't use oils (except on the lion's mane mushroom as I learned from the owner Jordan). I loved the crunch wrap with quinoa and jackfruit base. And the sauces, all made in house, are delicious. I love that the name of the items refer to animal rights. I'm pleasantly surprised to learn that they can make most of all items Gluten-Free and the gluten free wraps taste great.
