JK Bakery Cafe (downtown)

Ordered a gluten free black forest cake for our moms birthday. The cake was dry and seemed like something went wrong in the baking process. We contacted the bakery and they were extremely professional and made the situation right quickly. We would happily gjve it another go with high hopes! 5 stars based on service since we haven't tried again to rate the product.

While walking in the Canmore downtown on Oct. 9 we happened upon JK Bakery. We decided to get some snacks and treats for our hike the next day on Pigeon Mountain and were very pleased with the look of the pre-made sandwiches and sweets. There were gluten free options which I was very happy about however when I opened my sandwich the next day I was shocked at how small the bread slices were but the sandwich was awesome! My wife had a breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was kinda pricey however we did enjoy what we bought. Worth visiting and purchasing home made food. Giving 4 stars only because of the price and the very small gluten free bread slices! Taste and Service is a 5 star indeed!!!
