Love going to this place . Love that they have dedicated fryer and I can eat nachos, poutine so fantastic. The only upsetting factor is that when I order a chicken club no bun ( I have celiac) with a side of poutine they charge me an extra 6.50 and it is a super small poutine not worth the 6.50 meal cost almost 25 bucks and that to me is way overpriced for what I got. Service in the bar on Thursdays is usually the same two guys they are super friendly and knowledgeable about celiac and are very attentive to you while you are there. Will continue to go back for nachos and Mexican bowl but unfortunately the poutine is not worth the heavy price tag. When reading on menu they post as additional cost but it’s in the fine print that u miss the 6.50 for a tiny fry with Some cheese and gravy…..

⚠️ Not safe for Celiac! We have always chosen Jack Astor’s (mostly this location) for their gluten-free/gluten friendly options, as my 9-year-old daughter has Celiac disease. In the past, she never had issues here and we trusted the staff when we explained her condition. Unfortunately, today’s lunch was a terrible experience. We were a party of 10, the restaurant was short-staffed, and service was very poor. Meals came out at different times, and my 6-year-old son’s food arrived 15 minutes after everyone else’s. The worst part: despite clearly explaining my daughter’s condition, she became very sick shortly after we left...vomiting, diarrhea, and severe stomach pain, clear signs of gluten exposure or cross-contamination. This was not only disappointing but also dangerous. We can no longer trust this location and will not be returning. Very disappointed.

Our waitress Alexa was great! Food was great and extremely accommodating to Celiac
