Jack & Giulio's Italian Restaurant

I am gluten free and always suspicious of eating anywhere that doesn’t show up on the “FindMe Gluten Free” app. Working in San Diego for a week and a coworker requested that we all eat dinner here. I was resigned to my mental fate of ordering a salad. Much to my surprise and delight, there are plenty of options for gluten free dining at this restaurant and the filet mignon special with a cognac reduction was one of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever had. The up charge for gluten free is higher than many places, but the food is so good that I didn’t mind one bit. Would definitely eat here next time I’m in town.

Staying in Old Town San Diego for the first time, been to the city many times just not here, and we spotted this place a couple blocks from our hotel. Such a good find. I had the spaghetti w/ olive oil, caprese salad and a glass of the regaleali le rose tasca. Husband had the spaghetti with meat sauce with 2 meatballs and the garlic bread. I was not only able to get mine gluten free, but they were attentive to my gluten allergy as well. Would definitely go back when in SD again!
