Jack Stack Barbecue - Lee's Summit

While visiting the area it was suggested this Texas family try Jack Stack. We enjoyed this BBQ and would go back again if in the area. We were able to successfully eat gluten free, while not celiac I do have to consider cross contamination and did not get sick.

Thankful for gluten free options!

This was my first time there. The food was excellent! I had brisket and turkey which were very good and a loaded baked potato that was probably the best I've ever had. The service was great. They were very knowledgeable about being gluten free. I asked the person seating us if they had a GF menu. She provided a regular menu along with a corresponding allergen menu. She explained the allergen list; several items that did have gluten had number codes that showed how to substitute or change things to make it GF. I'd never seen a list like that and it was an excellent idea. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, as were the 2 people that came to our table to get our order, bring food, check on us, etc. Eating gluten free at a restaurant can sometimes be difficult but not here! It was a very good experience with fantastic food. I would give more than 5 stars if it let me.
