Any place that sells gluten free pancakes is a good place for me. The ambience and rest of food was very nice too. The seasoned tofu was good, but a little too salty for me.

I will ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast/brunch spot in Portland. The menu? Amazing. The service? So friendly. The food? Outstanding, the jam? Well, there’s a reason why it’s called JAM on Hawthorne. A friend in my party needed a gluten-free accommodation and not only was she presented with such giant GF pancakes that she couldn’t even finish, but she was also given extra toppings to-go for her leftovers which was so sweet! Street parking is a bit scarce, but the surrounding neighborhood parking is free. Just remember to pin your location or else you might forget where you parked like I did!

Cool spot! Great service who were sincerely friendly. And there's great art on the wall. We went there when visiting from Seattle, for the gluten-free pancakes. They were really good! And the coffee was not some messy, brown water. It was really good too. Enjoy!
