Jane's Tea House

Spectacular! It was my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter's first tea, and the little one was over-the-moon when Princess Ilsa appeared. Not only was the food delicious, (including a gluten free meal,) but service by Michelle was wonderful, only to be exceeded by Ilsa's amazing one-on-one enchanting personality with often star-struck children but also her Broadway-caliber singing voice in her interactive show for all the little Princesses was magic. Bravo! We will be back!

We recently hosted my daughter-in-law's baby shower at Jane's, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with the experience given the price we paid. To start, one of our guests had a gluten-free dietary requirement. The server brought out a "gluten-free" tray, but when the guest began eating, they realized it looked identical to the regular food. It turned out the tray wasn’t actually gluten-free. The person in charge explained that the server was "new." Unfortunately, this caused the guest to leave early due to medical concerns, which understandably affected the mood of the event. This could have resulted in a serious issue, but thankfully it didn't. Additionally, while eating a sandwich, I bit into a large piece of paper, likely from the separator between cheese slices. After that, I couldn't bring myself to continue eating. I spoke with other guests who also mentioned that many of the items, including the cookies, croissants, and bread, tasted stale. The strawberry shortcake dessert was particularly disappointing, resembling a gelatinous filling from a can both in appearance and taste. To address our concerns, the person in charge offered to reduce our bill by charging for one less guest. Based on our experience, I would advise caution when considering this venue for an event.

The service was ok but I was extremely disappointed that each person doesn't get their own pot of tea. We were a table of 5 and had to share 2 tea pots. It's a fixed menu and there are no substitutions or accommodations for custom orders (you get what you get). You cannot order off the regular menu on Saturdays. There is a gluten free option
