Janine Café-Brunch

It was good nothing more. I expected more. Maybe my expectations were too high, hence my “disappointment”. I put it in quotation marks because the word is a bit strong. Let's get this straight, it was super good but unfortunately the cream sugar sauce was grainy and the presentation was average. You should know that I took the gluten-free bread so that takes away a little charm. Overall I'm satisfied but it wasn't WOW.

One of the best brunch places that I’ve tried in Montreal ! The menu has so many great options and you are able to order a few of the items on the menu as gluten free. I had the Gros Jambon with a matcha latte. My friend is vegetarian and had the Champi and the English breakfast tea. We both really liked our meals. The service was excellent. Every time I pass this place on weekends there is a line. We went during a weekday afternoon and we were seated as soon as we arrived.

Gluten free latkes were exceptional and one of the best mimosa’s I’ve had at a restaurant! The drip coffee left a bit to be desired but otherwise I had a wonderful experience.
