What a beautiful spot in Windemere. Gorgeous decor, professional service and the food was outstanding. I am Celiac and our server Dana was very knowlegable, explained their cross contamination practices and ensured I was well taken care of. Stars of the meal for me were Tuna Tataki appetizer and Pressed Salmon Sushi although everything we tried was excellent.

Had lunch at Japan’s last week, and it was pretty good. We both had “build your own” bento boxes; the selection was extensive and the portions were generous. The included miso soup was delicious! The fish was fresh, more so than most other sushi restaurants I’ve tried, except Mikado. My wife’s gluten intolerance was easily accommodated. Nothing “wow” but a very tasty lunch, albeit a little expensive.
