Jay's Artisan Pizzeria

My friend brought me here, I have heard so many great things about it for years and it lived up to the hype. First of all the staff was so knowledgeable, friendly and cool. Our waitress took the time to go through the options of the different pizzas and Gluten Free options- super helpful, also her recommendations were spot on. The food was so tasty- we got the prosciutto and melon to start and it was gone so quick haha, the pizzas were so crispy and delicious. The gluten free one was soooo good and I couldn't even tell it was GF, which for pizza is amazing to create dough so fluffy and tasty that it was hard to spot the difference. Thank you for that. The desserts were so so good, the ice cream/gelato flavors were so nice on this hot day, spot on with your flavors- the almond orange was so gooooood. Also the house red wine was so nice with everything. Such a cute spot, felt welcomed immediately, super cozy and fast + attentive service. Great for a date night, group hang or even come in by yourself🤍 Congratulations on your #4 ranking- well deserved 👏

The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because they halved the Detroit pizza sizes and maintained the same price. It is embarrassing to show up somewhere with pizza and only have half of what you thought you would be bringing. However, they have the best gluten free crust I have ever had
