Jazz Café

I was very disappointed with my visit to jazz cafe today I looked at menu chose a gluten free option as stated they brought the drinks and after 15 minutes of waiting a staff member comes to me to say a chef is saying the gluten free option on the menu is not gluten free and to choose something else I was disappointed after waiting a while before telling me this and also I had lost confidence in there menu and there gluten free options as if you are going to state you have gluten free options and after a customer orders then you take away the option of it being gluten free its unfair to the customer should really rethink if you can provide gluten free as stated on your menu and be honest with what you can provide gluten free as it's fake advertising what food options you really provide I found this really misleading today it's a struggle finding places to eat what do provide gluten free options already so when you find somewhere what states it already provides then takes back its very distressing I need to stick with gluten free diet for health reasons so bad mix ups like this is upsetting I didn't enjoy my visit

Booked on line a table for my mother in laws 76 th birthday. We had an afternoon tea for 4 and a gluten free,dairy free afternoon tea for 1. The food was excellent a good selection of fresh roll sandwiches, cheese, crackers, cheese straws, pork pies,a good selection of small cakes and scones with jam and clotted cream large pot of tea and the same of coffee and we had a bottle of prosecco. The gluten free version was also a good selection. We were well looked afternoon. My mother in law thoroughly enjoyed yourself. Thank you for a great afternoon.
