Jeera Thai Westport

I was very happy to see that they offer vegan and gluten-free options, and when I asked what exactly those were, the lady taking my order said most of the dishes can be modified to be vegan and/or gluten-free! So I got the Pad See Ew, which is a dish I usually can't order because it is traditionally neither vegan nor gluten-free. It was perhaps a tad bit on the bland side (I assume as a result of omitting ingredients like fish sauce that can't be substituted) - mainly just the tofu that was bland, because the noodles and vegetables tasted pretty good. Very enjoyable. And a good sized portion for the price, which made me especially happy because I was so hungry. I would have to try some of their other dishes to get a better idea of their food since it's hard to judge a place off of just one thing. The dining area inside is small and nothing terribly fancy, but it was comfortable enough. I came for lunch shortly after they'd opened so it wasn't that busy (a couple of people were finishing up their meal, and a couple people came in to order take-out).

We stop here every time we come from New Jersey to Massachusetts and back. Some of the best Thai food ever. The owners are also lovely people. It’s small with an open kitchen and a few small tables. Outdoor seating is available. If you want excellent Thai food, non-pretentious environment, and lovely service, then this is the place you should go.
