I ordered online and arrived a bit early for pick-up. Go in person instead and maybe you will have better luck. Gluten free bread was a godsend. That is where it ended.
I don't eat bacon. Bacon on the order. I asked for double, didn't get it. I asked for mayo, didn't get it. Barely any meat on my steak and cheese sub- no joke. I got back and felt like, what happened?
I called after I got back and discovered what was wrong, and the owner refunded me, which is good and should be standard practice. I am deeply appreciative of the great customer service I got regarding the mistake in terms of how quickly it was fixed. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I cannot believe I am about to say this with my bougie food loving taste buds, but I had better food at Subway than this Jersey Mike's. Talk about shocking. I didn't feel what I ate was worth what I paid.
I don't like is when people tell you they did a thing they didn't actually do for you while you were standing there. Maybe in their minds eye, but I know what I left with and what I opened up when I got in my space. I would appreciate in the future them not making excuses, just owning the mistake, and going straight to fixing the problem.
The place was really clean and organized. For some odd reason the online ordering did not show everything I saw listed in the shop. It was more spacious inside than I thought it was going to be.
I really would like to have a meal in this state that doesn't have anything extra added, isn't contaminated, no one attempted to drug it, forget it contains certain ingredients that are "secret" when I ask so I get sick, or just straight up lie about the ingredients. It has been crazy just trying to eat in Massachusetts. Do better people. Be better!
Sorry, I vented a bit. Being hangry does things...
