I've been to Jersey Mike’s many times across various locations, but this particular one truly stands out. What impressed me most is that they offer gluten-free bread and take cross-contamination very seriously — which is a big deal for someone with Celiac disease like me.
They wiped down all surfaces before preparing my sandwich, changed gloves, and even had separate bottles of mayo and mustard stored in their own section with a dedicated fridge. The gluten-free bread is kept separate from the regular bread and individually wrapped, which adds an extra layer of safety. I was told that the store manager also has Celiac, which explains the team’s strong awareness and commitment to following proper protocols. You can tell they’ve been trained thoroughly.
I’ve honestly never seen a sandwich station so clean. And it wasn’t just that area — the entire restaurant was spotless. The vibe here is just different in the best way.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by two young ladies working at the front. I didn’t catch their names, but they were incredibly sweet, friendly, and welcoming. Their customer service was absolutely top-notch and really made me want to come back.
Now of course, this is still a sandwich shop — so if you have severe Celiac, there’s always going to be some level of risk despite the precautions. But based on my visit, I felt confident and safe, and I truly appreciate the extra care they put in.
