Jersey Mike's Subs

I’ve been fasting lately and was craving a sub. Went to Jersey Mikes since it’s close and was my only meal that day. I didn’t notice any weird taste with the sandwich but ended up with food poisoning several hours later. I was up all night throwing up and 💩. Stomach cramping all night. Body was still dry heaving this morning. I’m super weak and dehydrated still and occasionally get stomach cramps since there’s so much inflammation from the sandwich. I called today to make the manager aware and he denied it was even possible to get food poisoning since the meat arrives frozen. He didn’t apologize and just said I am probably sensitive to the bread and gluten free. I eat bread all the time and have never had a reaction. I’m just disappointed in his nonchalant service and attitude regarding this. I have eaten there a few times in the past and never got sick. It’s not the bread. Customer service is very lacking here.

This place was amazing, my son was just diagnosed with Celiac disease he’s 9 and we haven’t been able to find a lot of places with gluten free options that he likes. But he loved it & the employees that helped us last night were amazing. They made sure to have his bread on a totally different tray. We really appreciate this 💚 He said “ oh we’re going back to that place again”. Lol
