Jersey Mike's Subs

DO not eat here if you have a food allergy. They do not take the proper precautions. Went to jersey mikes location in Fresh meadows on 01/11/25. I Ordered 3 Sandwiches. 1 was a gluten free sandwich due to a food allergy. I have ordered here in the past, and it was never an issue. Normally they would finish all orders for the grill then clean the grill and do the gluten free order. I normally wait and I've always been okay with it. Today however, they were annoyed. They had bread on the grill from prior orders, the person doing the hot grill scraped off the grill and placed the meat on the same grill that the bread was on. I brought that to their attention. They threw away the meat and cleaned off half of the grill to make the gluten free sandwich. They then proceeded to place a wrap to be toasted near the new sandwich. I brought that to their attention and I was told that's how they do it. IF they are okay with cross contamination for an allergy I am not. I asked for a refund and the "manager" on duty, he was annoyed by it. They will harm someone seriously with this issue and they do not care. I will not be back.
