Jersey Mike's Subs

This was my very first visit to a Jersey Mike’s, and at first I was honestly nervous. As soon as I saw the prep area and how many hands each sandwich passed through, I was scared and almost walked out without ordering. With celiac disease, cross-contamination is always a serious concern for me, and most restaurants don’t take it as seriously as they could. But the team working around 5:30p Saturday (08/16), absolutely amazed me!!! At first mention of being celiac, they explained their entire process for handling my order safely. They changed gloves, opened new lettuce, and prepared everything with such care and confidence. It was clear they were educated about cross contamination and took every precaution. What impressed me even more was their attitude — they weren’t just careful, they were genuinely happy to do it. In this day and age, it’s sad that more restaurants don’t take these steps, but Jersey Mike’s truly stood out. I left feeling my food was safe, cared for, and extremely impressed. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others!

I was pleasantly surprised when the staff knew how to accommodate a person with celiac. Many establishments that offer gluten free bread arent always educated on cross contamination but this location was so educated and did everything right to ease my sister and allow her the option to have a sandwich. Its not often she can enjoy the same food as a non-celiac person so for the staff last night to know and be so understanding it was definitely a green flag and a place we can add to our list of gluten free locations. Thank you again to the staff last night that made my sister feel so comfortable that she could eat a sandwich and know she wouldnt end up sick.
