Jersey Mike's Subs

I was attempting to order a gluten-free kids meal for my two youngest children who have a gluten allergy and was treated very rudely by two of the employees. I was trying to understand what the issue was so I could order they way I needed to according to store policy, but the lady at the grill had no patience and was very iritated that I asked for gluten free buns for a kids meal. I'm not sure why she was acting the way she was, but me and my kids became very uncomfortable and said that we would go elsewhere to eat. There was a sweet red-headed young lady who was obviously distressed at how the lady who was on the grill was behaving regarding the gluten-free buns and was being so kind and apologizing for the other lady. It was our first time in a Jersey Mike's restaurant, and it was an incredibly uncomfortable and somewhat hostile experience. We won't be back and as far as being accommodating for allergies, I would say they scored a big goose egg in my book. Such a pity as I've heard their sandwiches are good, but being treated so poorly made me lose my appetite.
