Jimmi's Italian Kitchen

Fantastic food! Clean washrooms and eating area! All pasta is made on site. Very good gluten options if that's a concern. Flavourful, and nice presentation with good portion. Only complaint, I like a full water glass at all times. Had to ask for a water refill. I had an ice tea also, very small glass. No spoon was with utensils, so had to ask for one as I enjoy eating pasta using a spoon and fork combo. I will be back!

OK, confession time. I am as guilty as the next of inflating reviews. I have given four and five stars for places that were just acceptable, ones for which I had no complaints. Jimmi’s is terrific. The food is deserving of six stars. My friend and I both ordered pasta: he the Carbonara and I had the Wild Mushroom and Prosciutto. Both were terrific. Even our server, Nathan was fun. When we were ordering, I asked him what the gluten free pasta was ($1 extra). He did not know the name (turned out it was rotini). We teased him about it for the rest of the meal and he laughed along with us. Good guy. The restaurant is new, and I suspect Nathan has not served before as when we had finished our main course, he asked if it would be one bill or two. No up sell, no suggestion for desert or coffee. We prompted him and we both ordered Americanos which were very good. But the service was good. Décor is not super. A little plan, but not distasteful. Def recommend.
