Very disappointing experience. Harrisonburg is my hometown and I'm here for a visit. Location mentions Gluten-free on menu. I asked at the door before ordering my food if the fryer is a dedicated fry fryer or shared fryer as this can cross-contact food. Dropped $50 for 2 people on food only to have them come out almost 30 minutes into waiting and tell me they do not have a dedicated fryer and my fries would not be safe. I chose to order here for an entire meal. I was then simply told sorry, had $5 taken off for the fries, and given some bland brisket and sent on my way. Extremely frustrating experience on my first day in town and handled poorly. Don't advertise Gluten-free without properly training your staff. Also if something like this happens management should be the one stepping up to resolve the issue and it should have been a better resolution that returning my $5 and shrugging it off.

This place is great and very spacious!!! They have 2 floors for dining. A large bar area and restaurant area when you walk in. Then up the spiral staircase there's even more space and another large room for eating. The wait was 30 minutes for a Saturday which wasn't bad. The wait staff was very friendly and informative about what was good. They were very respectful with our party as one guest has a gluten allergy. They make there own bbq sauce. There are 3 to choose from. They have bbq, burgers, salads and of course lots of delicious sides!! The brisket was Soo good and paired well with the bourbon bbq house sauce. My favorite was the chicken waffle sandwich!!! It was all just perfectly proportional with the crispy chicken and waffle and of course I drizzled it with maple syrup. The broccoli cheddar salad was also really good and not over bearing with cheese. Collard greens were also good especially since my husband hates collard greens the ham in it was Soo good. If you don't feel like cooking or have to run they do family take out portions!! Over all great experience will be back
