Johnny's New York Style Pizza

We found this place while traveling home to Birmingham from Atlanta and chose it because of how the photos depicted the environment! We wanted a laid back, kid friendly atmosphere and this place was just that! To start, we had two families in our party, with a total of four children and four adults. The kids spilled drinks two different times, our baby was incredibly restless, and we were all pretty hangry. Our waitress was SO sweet and helpful to our needs. She brought us rags every time we spilled something, was more than friendly, and was knowledgeable. I wish I remembered her name. The food is amazing! We got a chicken Alfredo pizza and a cheese pizza for the table, and I got a pasta meal as well. It all tasted so fresh and was just what we wanted after a full day at the aquarium. We tipped generously because of how rambunctious our group was. This will definitely be a new favorite of mine to stop at when we are headed to or from Atlanta! (Didn’t apply to us but they also have gluten free options)

I walked into this establishment tonight, intending to spend a lot of money for food for my family to take home. I am gluten intolerant, and I wanted a doughless Johnny's deluxe, but because it was after 5, they said I could only have 2 toppings. I decided to take our business elsewhere. We are local, and for the last 5 years, we have been coming to this location it often is disappointing for the money we spend.
