Johnny's World Famous Chicken & Waffles

Stopped in eager to try their chicken! Ride share had difficulty dropping close to restaurant; ended up parking down closest side street to drop off safely. Accommodated a large group (party of 8) in the main dining room on shorter notice within 1/1.5 hours of closing. Hostess/Server was warm and patient with desires and requires of the entire table. Food was delish! Gluten free options/variations were offered! Waffle flavors blended wonderfully with maple syrup and chicken. The fry was perfect on the chicken. Ranch was top notch! Few food items, like sides or special drinks, came out wrong, then very late or never at all. Bar wasn't in personal view, but it felt like our server was 2 requests behind serving the bar and empty main room. Loved that server could settle our checks with a handheld device table side! That was very helpful for our large party! Ride share had difficulties finding a safe place to pick up in front of the restaurant. 10/10 recommend adjusting the pick up pin to the closest side street, Harvard Ave, for rideshare.
