After thoughtful consideration, I chose JM for my husband’s 60th birthday celebration. Thanks WC Foodies for the suggestions and highly rated comments. I made reservations for the private and cozy booth area for our family of 6. Nancy was our server and she was outstanding. Everything was timed wonderfully, she was cheerful, made many suggestions, and anticipated our needs. She consulted with the chef to be certain our gluten-free daughter had a meal that met her dietary restrictions. Our group ordered prime rib, steak, walleye and shrimp dinners. Each plate was intentionally elegant and prepared to perfection. Thank you for making our evening special and memorable.

So much potential. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. Host was amazing. Server needed training; she forgot the lime for my cocktail several times (I finally just drank it without it) and was unaware of dietary restrictions (eg she thought butter had gluten in it). Also, my steak was overdone, my wife ordered medium well, I had medium rare and they were both cooked the same. I was too hungry to send it back. It's just one of those things that could've been so much better than it was.
