Johnny Doughnuts

When you are gluten free, you really miss things like doughnuts and cakes, so I was really excited to see the wheat free doughnuts on the menu. The area in Larkspur where this store is licated is abysmal at identifying gluten/wheat free items on their menus and it is frustrating. I had the salted caramel chocolate wheat free doughnut, and it is almost as good as the wheat ones I remember. Thick, dense, chewy... it satisfied the desire and it was a really good-sized doughnut. There were no prices listed anywhere and you have to ask when it is your turn to order. That's the only part I did not appreciate. Especially when you are not a local, and waiting in line. Put the prices on a chalkboard and change it hourly if need be, but post them.
