We stayed above the coffee shop, so it became our base after long walks or outdoor activities. What a wonderful gift to be able to eat such delicious cakes after you have been active. The cakes are both gluten and lactose free. And they remain delicious! Fresh tea and delicious sandwiches with local fish and lots of vegetables / raw crust. The staff is very friendly. Pleasant, and up for a chat. They are genuinely interested. When they realized it was my birthday, I got a cake as a gift, with candles and a birthday song on the speakers. They asked how our day was. And besides being friendly, they are also hospitable. They think along with you about the food, give tips and the service is fast! If you are staying in Äkäslompolo, definitely stop by. And if the weather is good, the sun is shining, you can sit outside on the terrace!
