We got to check out their new 2025 menu and it is fantastic. The popovers are fun but it gets serious with the blueberry bbq sauce pork sandwich, the lobster Mac and cheese, and the popover pot pie. We have someone with a dairy and gluten allergy and they were very respectful and helpful. Our waiter was great too! We loved this place and hope to go back again some day.

We got here in line by 10:45am for the 11am opening. We meant to go Jordan’s restaurant but ended up here and regretted it. Once in, we were told 4 of the 6 gluten free options weren’t available. That left a lobster stew and a salad, no meat dishes left on menu for Lunch so my friend left starving basically. Ordered the pop overs and coffee since I guess this is the spot for them? Or tea and popovers? The coffee came in a large carafe which we couldn’t share so my friend got charged for her coffee separately (which was crazy), but worse, coffee tasted like barely flavored hot water, very light in color. The pop overs were warm and crispy on outside and came almost an hour after seating even though the butter and jelly were first things delivered to table, but they were undercooked inside. The food came out before we even got our drinks/coffee and popovers. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks/coffee and when asked about our drinks after 15 minutes, waitress said the server will bring it. She was apologizing to several tables around about the delays. The service was just awful, any waitress knows to make sure guests receive their drinks before anything else. The smoked salmon sandwich was ok, that’s the best I can say. My friends lobster stew was broth and maybe $15 worth of lobster pieces, not $24 worth. She left starving. When I asked to see a manager about it all, I was told even the manager was making drinks. I wouldn’t come here again, just go walk the trail for the pond and eat in town instead.
